DISCUSSION PART 2

Transitions - Transitions Tab
Powerpoint offers a number of animated transition and layout actions. These give the feel of interaction and movement in presentations and allow creation of complex animated slideshows that can look like Flash Movies. Use the Transitions tab.

  • Common transitions thumbnails appear in the ribbon.
    • The left-most is the Current transition theme.
    • Clicking other thumbnails to the right of the Current will change to that of the thumb you choose.
  • You can also change the transition speed and sound.
  • Set slide advancement timing
  • Apply to current slide or all slides in the show

Presentation timing - Animations tab

  • Timing of transitions
  • Timing of text animations
  • Play to click
  • Play to timing
